Windows 7 x64: Mainstream Adoption

It seems that eMachines is now including Windows 7 x64 as the standard operating system for their inexpensive PCs.

Their cheapest model being sold at Wal-Mart, with a low-end Athlon processor and 2GB of DDR2-800, comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium x64.

If that isn't mainstream, I don't know what is...

Anyone else notice similar trends?

Yes, yes, yes... Most new Dells come with 64bit, even lappys!

Now that 128 bit processors are on the radar, we are finally seeing adoption of the 64bit OS! Makes you hope they get onboard with 128 faster than it took for 64!
