Have flash drives show up on the desktop?

Is there a way I can get flash drives to show up on the desktop when I plug them in? Also would it be possible to get it to show up in ObjectDock (I have the free version)?

Vista and Windows7, sometimes Ubuntu and Fedora

Just make a shortcut. It will not work when you eject the drive but when you plug it back in, it will (should) work. You can also move this shortcut into Object Dock. In Rocket Dock that works too.

Man, ok, I hoped that I could get it to pop up when I plug it in.

Thanks

There is a program that does this, what is it called...I forget the name and just did a google search for it and couldn't find it. Anyways it was this really tiny program that just did exactly that...when you plugged in a USB drive it created a shortcut on the desktop....when you unplugged it it removed the shortcut.

Shoot! What was it called?

EDIT: Just found it! It's called Desktop Media. Turns out there's one called Desk Drive too..anyways here are the links: Desktop Media and Desk Drive
