Does Microsoft have a server version of Windows 7? I haven't tried looking; just wondering if its available.

There's Windows 7 Enterprise which is built for businesses but it's really just a version of Windows 7 which supports multiple licenses and what not. I think they're called VLKs.

The real Server operating system is Windows Server 2008 R2. You can check it out on the Microsoft website.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Operating System

If you're looking for a server operating system you could purchase 2008 R2 but most people use Linux instead. It takes a bit of work to learn how to use it, but it's a bit more stable and way more widely used. There are lots of Distro's available. The most popular are versions of Redhat.

LAN network for server/client only, USB hotspot for server internet.
A friend is moving his business, and the new business park that he's setting up shop in does not have anyway to get any wired internet to his building, excluding a T1 line, which he can't justify the cost of. One windows 7 machine acts as the server, primarily for Quickbooks database, and there...

Windows 7 Computer can't see Server 2003 Server
