One of my Windows install has suddenly decided it doesn't want to acknowledge any mouseclicks, with the sole exceptions of rightclicks on the desktop. Attempting to click anywhere will bring the taskbar back into focus if it has been lost, but does nothing else. It applies to all four mouses I tried, including Windows' inbuilt numpad-controlled accessibility option.
The actual cursor will move, but it's just not registering the clicks. No unusual processes are running, and it's not a hardware issue, as I can boot an Ubuntu LiveCD and use that just fine.
Has anyone experienced this before? What was the solution?
