I have a shortcut that opens explorer "rooted" to a particular folder:
Code:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, /root, c:\users
It works fine and launches explorer rooted to the folder.
The problem is that any changes that are made within this folder require a "refresh" (F5) to get them to show up.
I have tested the same shortcut on several other Windows 7 machines with quite different set ups.
Can anybody verify that the "Explore Rooted" feature that I used to use all the time in Windows XP
does not work in Windows 7? Alternatively, is there a better way to get the shortcut to work correctly
Thanks
