How to delete items directly from search results window

Windows 7 Pro 32 bit

awkward question, but the basics are:

I usually search for the word "UPDATED" and I often will receive results with 3-4 instances of the same old "updated" files. I would like to be able to delete the older files directly from the search results list, as I could in XP SP3 Pro. Seems I cannot. In Win 7 I seemingly have to navigate to the file location and delete them from there, which, to me, is a monumental time-waster.... *sigh*

what am I missing? any help/advice would be much appreciated.

TIA

Hi Jacee, thank you for your reply, but unfortunately that option is not in my context menu.

"Send to Toys" will give you that option |MG| Send To Toys 2.6 Download

Dropdown menu shows better in this link http://www.ghacks.net/2010/05/10/sen...-panel-applet/

thanks again Jacee, I downloaded and installed SendTo toys...

I am not clear on what I am supposed to do on the folder tab though. I've re-read it twice and still don't understand it. I want "send to recycle bin" to be an option throughout the whole computer (ie in Windows Explorer) and of course, in the search results as well.... not just in one folder...is that what it means? sorry !

oops one other thing... how can I be notified when someone responds to my question(s) ?

thanks for your help

New items are added by clicking on the Add button and selecting a drive, folder or program to send the selected data to.
The open folder link opens the sendto folder in Windows saving the user the hassle to type in shell:sendto in the run box.

Do you see the recycle bin in the dropdown box when you right click on a file you want to delete?
