    Public Music is just Music

    Hi,
This isn't a big issue but on my PC I have these shared folders:-

    Public Pictures (F:\Users\Public\Pictures)
    Public Videos (F:\Users\Public\Videos)
    Music (F:\Users\Public\Music)

Everything works as it should but why is Music not called Public Music or have I messed up the name relocating the default drive?

I've fiddled about and Public Music is now called that - not sure what I did though!

Strangely, if I right click/properties on Public Music the location is F:\Users\Public but if I select Music Library Includes/locations the location is given as F:\Users\Public Music. See attachment.

I will probably re-install soon with (with raid) - so I'll leave it all for now. In my experience Windows 7 still leaves something to be desired in this area.

    Regards

p.s. whs - Thanks for your interest - shouldn't you should have 'Music' in your path name?

I think one property is the Library and the other one is the Folder.

The tick box next to public music in the library options windows indicates that it is the default save location. Try setting the main music folder, no the public one, to the default save location in library options.
