Well I figure I should introduce myself finally now that I've posted a bunch of my problems here

My name is Ben but most of my friends online call me ookami (pronounced oh-KAH-mee) so that's why I chose my username. I'm 22, turning 23 in Sept, and I just graduated college in May.

My degree was a BA in Art (not really related to computers) and I had an emphasis in Computer Science (Read: one class short of a minor). Ever since my first computer (good 'ol 386), I've been very interested in computers. I've programmed since I was 12 or even earlier (don't remember exact age) but I'm out of touch with it (first languages I learned were HTML and QBasic).

In college, my main job was working at a Technology Helpdesk for support of Faculty, Staff, and Students. I really enjoyed that job because I loved helping people fix issues with their computer (tho, most of the job ended up being Virus Removal which is a big pain in the butt).

I joined here when I went through installation with my current build because I had issues with making a proper DVD for installation. Now I'm just here to learn about anything and keep myself updated so I can get and keep a computer support job.

    whew...that was alot...

I look forward to meeting the gurus on this site and hopefully become one myself :)

Thanks! I'm glad to be done with school but I really wish I had a job already. I did have an employer bite but then I couldn't log in to the online application process and I told him but no contact back
