After running an HP Vista x86 notebook for 2 1/2 years I decided to step up to a Win 7 x64 desktop and for me there was much of research to be done migrating from a 32 bit architecture to a 64 bit architecture, trying to find out if my favorite programs would run on Win 7 and whether there were x64 bit versions of them available. I spent months online checking out everything from program compatibility to exactly which desktop would work best for me. I visited hundreds of websites and I would always check out Scroogle search results from the Windows 7 Forums first because I learned early on that this is where I got the most accurate answers.

None of you knew it, but many of the Members here on the Windows 7 Forums were instrumental in helping me to make the final decision to get my new HP HPE-270f desktop...

Thank you all for doing what you do so well!

Welcome Maxx, looks like a nice desktop, how is it running for you?

Did you anchor it to the floor?

Welcome to Seven Forums Maxxwire. I too spent months researching which programs would work, as well as researching PC parts. Not regretted it at all
