    Login problem

Hey guys, having quite a strange problem today, hopefully some of you can shed light on it, and help me through.

It seems that i am unable to login to my profile on my computer. For a start, my account has no password, so it would usually log in by itself. Second, upon clicking my account image to log in, welcome text displays, followed by a blank screen with the mouse pointer displayed, then it takes me back to the login screen.

I was able to enable the hidden admin account during safemode, admin account logs in fine, but main account still refuses to log in.

I deleted my system restore points (Regrettably), so that rules it out.

The steps ive taken so far to address the problem:

Run in safe mode = Login success.
Run in safemode & CMD = Login Success

Enabled Hidden admin account = Login success for admin account, no login for main account.

Uninstalled a program i installed yesterday and tried logging in = Login failed.

Cleared out all temp files = Login failed.

Disabled all startup programs = Login failed.

I'm really out of ideas, and struggling to keep myself from just formatting.

    All help is welcome.

    Thankyou.

What about using the admin account to create a new user, then import your main account settings into it?

Hmm, i'll have a crack at it, how would i go about importing settings to another account? Would that just involved copy & pasting the APPData folder into the new account?

Tried it and it worked, until i restarted my computer, then back to black screen.

    Any other ideas?

That's odd, I've never had a problem with UXcore. I wonder how it did that?

    FOUND OUT WHY!

I downloaded the remove system tray program from DA, and when i set it to hide the tray, the theme patcher shat itself. I set the tray to show again, reinstalled UXCore, and voila!! Were back in operation

    Good to hear,
I was hoping I wasn't gonna have to start worrying about UXcore.

Well i had doubts it was UXCore on it's own, and i remembered that program that i downloaded before i went to bed. so it all fits into place.

And they guy who made the systray app wants me to be a beta tester :|...

Think i'll give it a miss

And a big thanks to you guys for sticking around n helping me out
