How to Save downloaded files directly on Desktop - ??

    How to Save downloaded files directly on Desktop - ??


    Hello,

    I am using Win7 X64, and the problem i am facing is tht, whenever i download any files from the internet to my PC, whenever i click "Save as" - I don't get the option to save file on my Desktop.
    So basically, i can save file anywhere on my comp. except desktop.
    please guide me how to save files directly on my desktop.

    Save to documents, then drag to desktop. If I save from the net, I do not get that option, either.

    1. Browse to the item (such as your drive, folder or libraries) you want to add to Favorites.
    2. Please, make sure that the full path of such an item is fully visible and correct on the Address Bar.
    3. Right-click on Favorites (right on the bar containing the yellow star).
    4. A menu should appear. Select Add Location in Browser to Favorites.
    5. Done!
    6. Alternatively, to make things easier, you can just drag-and-drop a folder or a library or whatever you want to the Favorites, to automatically add a link to it.
