thankx all of u for giving ur important time to discuss this problem with me . Really appreciate
mak, is this the first laptop you have used ? they are a lot nosier than a desktop pc owing to the compactness of the design
well pebby it's not that kind of thing. Well i have seen many laptop but none of them having the problem as far as i know. And for desktop i definitely sure that it's a jetengine bcoz iknow that. So as best friend i ask all of this without any hesitation.
This is funny, just 10 minutes ago the same thing happened to me (for the first time) when I was trying to install a driver from a CD on the wife's HP laptop. It went so far as to freezing the whole system and I had to power it off. But after gently reinserting the CD, the problem went away.
hmm on my Dell 1440 i bought a few months ago, when i inserted a disk it spinned like crazy making laptop vibrate so much! i had to take out the CD, It kept doing that a few times and then stopped. I think it has something to do with the drive being new :)
As you all advise me to do a warranty claim for my drive . Today i have done this and it will be replace in 3-4 working days. They told me it's an motor problem that creates vibration. Again thanku all for your time and comments
I really hoped that you would take my advice. Your description of the problem made me feel it was more than just a normal vibrations.
