    chkdsk bug

I think I have discovered a bug with chkdsk...

For no reason when I rebooted after a clean install I get the usual chkdsk as it starts up with 3 steps, it does it in about 2minutes and reboots as XP/VISTA, however it just loops over and over again, it just wont get out of it, and when I escape it and load the desktop I get a corrupt error when trying to open files from my download folder for no reason, anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I did. I blame it on a faulty driver for my RAID array (probably with any storage controller). I had to perform Startup Repair on both installations in order to get them to work properly (Beta and RC).

ummmm, well.... not on YOUR specific problem scenario, but count my vote as there is something wrong i think also. This involves it when plugging in flash drives, specifically in my case its a usb card reader and a duo mem stick... i go to check, it finds nothing, but this happens every single time i go to use it.... i havent seen your loop problem tho, sorry
