    SFC/scannow

I'm having a problem with system file scan inwindows 7 pro 32bit. i get error system resource protection could not start repair service. i have already checked services and my windows modules installer is already set to manual. Was wondering if anybody has any more ideas. I think if I get past this problem, system file scanner may be able to help fix some of my other problems. I hope somebody has the answer.

    Thank You

    hello and welcome..
It needs to run through a elevated (run as administrator) command prompt instead.
    what is your other problem??

    hope can help!

I'm running as admin. I tried starting windows modules installer and get error 1450 system resources too low. I'm also having problems with turn windows features off/on. The dialog box is empty. Also system restore won't restore and issue with syncing offline files with network at work. Thanks for the reply and if you have any other help for me it would be greatly appriciated.

    Thanks Again

    I just tried changing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control

    Key: RegistrySizeLimit
    Type: REG_DWORD
    Value:0xffffffff (4294967295)

I'm gettin g ready to reboot now. If you don't hear back from me tonight you know something went really wrong. Otherwise if I come back and that does'nt work I will try what you have replied for me. I'm excited to see if this works and share the results with you.

    Thank you again and again
