    Event log service


    The event log service in windows was causing an extreme slow log in into windows so I disabled it and deleted the service. unfortunately now I don't know where to get the service again so I can reinstall it.

    Several methods that come to mind are a repair install and if that does not work a system restore.

Received phone call today from Support1000. Remote session was done on my laptop, event log had a a lot of errors. Tech spent about 2 hrs and now he states he shut the event log to prevent my system from being hacked. How does the event log service have anything to do with the system being hacked?

The whole problem stems from the fact that my Office 2007 icons have magically disappeared, so I tried to run the Office diagnostic tool. But when I did, it mentioned an error about the event log service. I tried to go see if it was started or not, but when I did I realized that it wasn't even...
I have an event error message "SPP Notification Service event id 7023" at windows 7. The event viewer file is attached. Please let me know how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

Long time ago, when i upgrade my vista home premium to ultimate, i forgot to back up my VAIO files, and now they are all gone, like Fn key and S1 key doesnt work anymore,does anyone know how to fix that ? thanks. Joey
