IME and Unicode
How does Windows decide what to use? I have an IME that support Unicode -- which means it can be used in an English version of Windows 7 w/o change its locale. However, some part of Windows does not like it -- e.g. the search box in Explorer does not take in non-English input.
Is it up to Windows or application to decide what to take out of IME (unicode or not)? Or it's decided by IME?
