    Control Panel View

    Hi,

CP is an example, but same request on all screens with lists... in Win7, the default view in CP is "Icon with sub-list"... I much prefer the old view of a complete list with details of all options, files, docs, etc... the old view also offered the ability to sort by field column headings, which I used frequently... is there a simple way to revert to the old view and grouping?

    Gracias,
    BD

    panel view

Open control panel in top right hand corner there is a drop down menu VIEW BY \/
click on this and it gives you a couple of options you can do the same for other files, ie programs gives you a choice of 6/7

Hello Bill, and welcome to Seven Forums.

In addition, this can show you how to set a default folder view with the "Details" view setting, then apply it as the default view for all windows.

    Hope this helps,

    Shawn,

Where do you find the time to create these insanely perfect tutorials and little "fixit" utility files? You are brilliant. Thanks again... folders now looking the way I like them (General Items View).
