not able to delete new folder

i have downloaded video from tv channel on new folder then i deleted the video but the empty new folder cant be deleted . I tried :
    -right click delete.
    -ownership.
    -command prompt in all cases.
    -restore.
-all softwares that can unblock or delete on reboot.
-all same problem written to be solved on forum.
    -safe mode.
    -safe mode with connection.
-creat new folder and merge to delete.
    -drag to recycle bin.

i used all these ways but cannot delete the new folder which is 0 bytes empty and when i try to delete in all above ways it says:

    could not find this item

this no longer located in c:\users\soso\desktop.verify the item location and try again.

    new folder

    date created:6/5/2010 12:26am.

AND if itry to drag it to new folder it says folder not exist as when using command prompt too.

Please if you find a way to get rid of such phantomy file which stays there like a night mare.
    thank you

This may sound dumb, but try a few F5 presses. Windows 7 seems to have this annoying problem with not refreshing promptly in some situations. Hey, XP never did that.

    Bye.

Several suggestions here that you may try

Cannot delete file or folder | Windows Problem Solver

    and another

    Folder won't Delete - ARGH

If the above fails as a lost resort try this tool. I have doubts under these circumstances
