    Want to sync large folders (300GB) Alternatives to Synctoy?


    Synctoy is very slow-is there something that is faster/better to back up my media folder?
    One hard drive is primary-the second one is the backup...
    Or is it going to be around the same speed for anything that large?

    I use robocopy for most things.

    Karen'ts file replicator when a GUI is preferable.

I'm finding Explorer to be extremely slow on large folders (containing 2,000+ files for example) Much slower than Vista and insanely slower than XP. It seems to REALLY be tryng hard to peek at every file and gleen info from them every time you open the folder instead of just populating the list...
