Intel(R) Matrix Storage Console 'port 0' - HELP PLEASE!!!

Ok, I've been trying to find help elsewhere, but I can't find any help out there.

I keep getting the following error appearing at random intervals:

    Intel(R) Matrix Storage Console 'port 0' - HELP PLEASE!!!-esl21c.jpg

When I click it, it just launches 'Intel(R) Matrix Storage Console'.
But then all the bloody thing does is show this message:

    Intel(R) Matrix Storage Console 'port 0' - HELP PLEASE!!!-helpdsgds.jpg

If anyone knows how to resolve this, what appears to be a false error, I would appreciate the help. Thanks! :)

Welcome to Seven Forums LJFENNELL. This is a laptop problem from what I was able to see. I dealt with this for a girlfriends laptop a few years ago. In researching I did find it was just an annoyance since the popup said everything was ok as in your picture. You can right click taskbar, click on properties, taskbar tab, customize in notification area, and set it to always hide, that will remove the annoyance at least.

My girlfriend had a Dell, and the first thing we did was a BIOS update to the latest version, as people on the forums were having sucess with that. It didn't work for us, so we ended up updating the Intel Matrix Storage Console. THAT did the trick.

For you, I'd suggest go to start menu, see if Intel Matrix Storage Console is listed in all programs, click on the help/about listing and see if you have the latest version available for your PC. Dell had a newer version listed for her PC, and uninstalling, and reinstalling new version fixed it. Good luck, A Guy
