Is there a way to get rid of the CTRL+ALT+DEL screen

So ye, when i press ctrl+alt+del on my win7 (64-bit) i get this screen:

At vista and winxp, when we did ctrl+alt+del we got the taskbar immediately. Which is now different, and very annoying imo.

Is there a way to get rid of this? Or erm... When you press ctrl+alt+del that you get taskbar immediately like before? thanks in advance

Hello Berkay, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I think you meant that you got Task Manager instead. If so, then in Vista and Windows 7, you can press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open Task Manager instead now.

Hope this helps,
Shaw

Brink is spot on, as usual. Another way is simply go to the task bar and right mouse click on a free zone in the task bar (free zone being an empty area not one of the programs you have there for launching) and you will bring up a screen and Start Task Manager will come up.

Yeah, it takes a little bit to get use to, but unfortunately there's not a way to change it.

If you use the Task Manager often, then this may help make opening it easier if you like.
