I'm going to assume the image that was used had stuff ripped out like vlite did for Vista. If that is the case you will need to rinstall a version that has not be....tampered with.
I don't think so, I have the disc, and it's a microsoft disc w/ the holograms and the tag that was placed on my PC case. After looking at Dereks screenshot, I typed Windows DVD Maker in search, and nada. So I will send a message to AVA Direct and enquire if they delsect certain features before they install or?

Keep the ideas coming, it's not an issue for me so far, but it has me wondering for sure. Good thing I knew where to post to ask :)

Oh certainly an option if the need arrises, not going to do it now as everything is working fine. But I do have the original disc, and repair disc made, etc.

I wonder if you can use this tutorial and see if any of that stuff is actually on your disc?

Extract Files from Windows 7 Installation DVD

I don't know exactly where to look but.... just a thought.

Maybe you did short installation - have you tried putting the Win 7 DVD in see if you get more options
    It was already installed.
Sorta suggests the installer has done custom/minimum/fastest installation
