Unable to download PCA .reg file

Just letting you know -- I am about to create my thread with my rly big problem with my rly almost-dead computer and I was using your "Optimize Windows 7" tutorial like I always do after a format and now that I was about to make a thread, I registered -- and I am now unable to download the Program Compatibility Assistant disable registry file. All of the other .reg files and things I am still unable to download.

Program Compatibility Assistant - Enable or Disable

Might be some sort of permissions typo on SevenForums' end =) Dunno, just letting you guys know though! Hopefully you can in turn help me out with my computer problem when I have the time to put another thread up!

    Thanks

Strange, I can download the .reg file just fine. When you say "unable to download", at what point is it not working?

After selecting the graphic "Download" button I get this 'error':

    Code:
onealns, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
I have activated my account and everything as well. Don't know what is going on -- yesterday (& after the first time I formatted my computer) before I registered to the forums I was able to download that specific .reg file just fine. After registering today, the above error is what I get =/

    EDIT:
Just to confirm that I have infact registered:
Your account has already been activated so please try logging in.

Could anyone simply upload the Disable_Program_Compatibility_Assistant.reg file to mediafire and link it for me?

I'd prefer a moderator or some staff member from SevenForums -- I would rather not download a .reg file from a random member =) I'm sure that is understandable! Will give 2! Cookies in exchange!

Yeah, that's definitely a permissions problem with the forum. And I'm not sure I would be allowed to re-upload the file anyway, so no hard feelings!

Only staff members can handle forum permissions problems like this; if they don't see it soon, I'll notify them.

Hi onealns and welcome to Windows 7 Forums

I'm not sure what the problem is, but have you tried OPTION TWO Through the Local Group Policy Editor of the Tutorial?

That will help him perform the same task without the .reg file, but the additional problem is that the forums won't let him download the .reg file since he registered. It's saying he doesn't have permission to download the attachment.
