Cannot remove entry from Control Panel Jumplist

I pinned the NVIDIA Control Panel to my Control Panel Jumplist, but when I uninstalled the graphic drivers to update to a newer version, the shortcut on the jumplist no longer works, but it doesn't let me remove it either.

Did you reboot. Did you right click on desktop and then refresh?

Well it seems you're not the only one looking for a way to do just that,

Here's some other threads I found, which have not been solved by the way.

How to clear jump lists for a SPECIFIC program ?

How to clear all the items of Jump List of a program?

And some more info you may want to look at here,

Wish there was more to offer but that's all I can find right now.
