There used to be one of these in the days of W98 or maybe W95. It was called TrayList or DeskList or something like that. I'm sure one of you uh, ahem, more senior gentlemen, will remember it.
It had a small unobtrusive icon that sat, if I recall correctly, in the systray, the notification area....

What is the main difference between these?
Say,
I've changed first the keys under Shell Folders and then under User Shell Folders.
It was only until I'd changed those under User Shell Folders (after restarting the machine) did the changes take place.
Just got "upgraded" to Win7 from XP at work and have been trying to recreate/replace functionality from the old system. One item I haven't been able to figure out is a panel or window of shortcuts that is always there, just an alt-tab away.
Under XP, I opened the folder containing the shortcuts...
I just downloaded a new theme and there is two copies of the theme in their own folders one labeled "Theme name Bottom Shell" and the other labeled "Theme name Top Shell"
Can someone enlighten me as to what the difference would be between the two as i really do not know :huh:
