Keeping Explorer stable

I'm not entirely sure of what you're asking for here. Can you post a screenshot of Explorer that show what you mean?


But if you want Explorer to navigate to and highlight the current folder in the tree structure, do this:

1. Click "Organize", then click "Folder and search options"
2. In the "General" tab, add checkmarks to both options under "Navigation Pane"
3. Click OK

Im not quite sure what you are referring to, but this may help.

In control panel go to folder options. under general check the box "show all folders" you can also check the box automatically expand to current folder if you like, thats more of a preference.
