What is aero glass remoting

And how does it differ from the basic aero theme?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'remoting' but the essential difference between basic and aero is a transparent taskbar / window borders / Flip 3D function / Aero peek etc is available in Aero.

It's more of 'eye candy' thing with a few extra features over basic, but Basic largely still has the same core functionality as Aero enabled.

Good link. I thought it was a 'language barrier confusion'

My apologies OP.

The aero glass remoting is only available in Ultimate and Enterprise.

The Pro and home offers aero theme which is different from aero glass remoting.

From the link provided above, the only difference seems to be the Flip-3D animation, correct? because the alt + tab and taskbar live preview are available in the Pro version.
