is it possible to upgrade from x86 vista ultimate to x64 w7 ultimate?
my hardware does support x64 software
and if its NOT possible.. plz tell me why
From what I understand a 32 bit OS can't be upgraded to 64 bit. You would have to do a fresh install. By the very nature of how the OS is put together won't allow x86 to become x64. If you want x64, you'll need to start fresh.

I just updated my pc from Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I also use IZARC to zip and unzip files and everything worked fine until the windows 7 installation.
The only software downloaded after the Windows 7 update was AVG 2013 and Dual Monitor Tools, which allows me to custom fit wallpapers...
