How to open .dmg file extension????

can anyone tell me how do i can open a .dmg file in windows and can be able to burn that file in some cd/dvd ??????

Yep DMG is an apple extension. You can use almost any Mac app to burn them to dvds. If you want to do it on win 7 you are going to have to gooogle an app that can read dmg in win 7 and write it.

i have downloaded dmg2iso but its not working....
if i use ultra or power iso and if then i convert it in an iso file then does the boot sector will change???
i mean then if i try to boot the cd does it will work and can i'll be able to install the os in my pc..???

MagicISO

I'd think, just because you convert it, doesn't mean it will work in Windows.

Windows 7 x64 pro/ Windows 7 x86 Pro/ XP SP3 x86
 
 

Download transmac.

Run Transmac and load your image.
(File, Open Disc Image, Select Image, Open)

Click the mounted image.

Drag and drop to your desktop.
