| Windows 7: Can't Access Cookies Folder |

Can't Access Cookies Folder I tried changing the permissions but all I get is blah-blah-blah. I don't like the fact that I have no control over MY system (Where Will I Let You Go Today -- No Where).
Is there a hack to open these restrictions? I haven't used Windows for over 3 years so a lot has changed since my last "visit."
Any suggestions appreciated,

An easy way to get to your cookies is to type shell:cookies into Start/search and hitting Enter.
But tracking cookies may be anywhere. Use a good anti-spyware to flush them out. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Too many to describe... OS Windows 7 x64 pro/ Windows 7 x86 Pro/ XP SP3 x86 |

Kirsch,
Got it. Too many duplications but I suppose it helps those who don't want to see what's under the covers.
Thank you,

If you are going to take the above advice, given by Kirsch, make sure that you go to control panel, folder options and make sure that hidden files and folders are allowed to be viewed. Also, you must unhide protected files. These are both shown under the view tab. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell XPS 420 OS Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, clean install, upgrade disc CPU Intel Core2 processsor Q8200(2.33Ghz 1333FSB) Quad Core Tech Motherboard Dell Memory 6 gb Graphics Card ATI Radeon 256MB HD3650 Sound Card Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio Monitor(s) Displays Dell SP2009W 20" Keyboard Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dell Premium Optical USB Cooling Fan Hard Drives 640 GB Serial ATA Hard drive Internet Speed DSL 2.85 |

Bill2,
I come from Linux so I've never paid attention to cookies, malware, spyware, etc. I am very cautious where I go and what I download but I guess there's always that chance of a blindside.
Suggestions for AntiWare?
Thanks,

Rich,
I've opened up my system to see everything. Before I did this I downloaded my bookmarks and didn't see the extension so I added it and ended up with bookmarks.html.html. Crazy stuff. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Crafted by Hand OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit Retail CPU Intel i7-920 Stock Motherboard ASUS P6X58D-E Memory 3 x 4GB G.Skill RipJaws 13800 Graphics Card PNY GTS 250 1024MB Sound Card Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VW266H 25.5" LCD X 2 Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Keyboard OLD IBM Mouse LogiTech Anywhere MX PSU Corsair CMPSU 750TX Case Cooler Master 932 HAF Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives WD 150GB VelociRaptor SATA
