| Windows 7: Can't Delete Stuff from Start Menu |

Can't Delete Stuff from Start Menu Normally, I can delete stuff from the Start Menu by right-clicking; then it asked me to confirm, because it'd affect everyone else on the computer.
For some reason, since a few weeks ago, I can't right-click "Cut" or "Delete" anymore, and I have a lot of things in my Start Menu I don't want anymore. I've uninstalled the main programs but the Start Menu shortcut is still there.
It's as if my computer has locked its Start Menu so I can't right-click what's there anymore to delete it. I'm the only person on this computer and the main administrator.
Any help? | My System Specs |

I can't right-click "All Programs". It doesn't let me; nothing comes up either, it just automatically flips me into the start menu and the button changes to "Back".
When I do the shell:start menu, nothing's really there either. Nothing that'd obviously be a solution, anyway.
Also, my "wheel" on the mousepad no longer works. Usually I can scroll by running my finger up and down the right side of the mousepad, but it's locked and won't let me scroll anymore. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell 1545 OS Windows 7 64-bit CPU 2.0GHZ Motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 Memory 4.0GB SDRAM Graphics Card 256MB Mobility Radeon HD 4550 Sound Card Sound Blaster Monitor(s) Displays 15" Keyboard Integrated Mouse Integrated Hard Drives 300GB Internet Speed 2,500kb/down; 800kb/up Other Info I hate Dell. It's a mousepad. It's integrated :s
The mouse isn't a huge deal, annoying, but the fact I can't delete start-menu items is more annoying than not being able to scroll with my mousepad. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell 1545 OS Windows 7 64-bit CPU 2.0GHZ Motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 Memory 4.0GB SDRAM Graphics Card 256MB Mobility Radeon HD 4550 Sound Card Sound Blaster Monitor(s) Displays 15" Keyboard Integrated Mouse Integrated Hard Drives 300GB Internet Speed 2,500kb/down; 800kb/up Other Info I hate Dell. I had these problems shortly after reinstalling Windows 7 for the 4th time in ~6 months. If that's the solution, I might as well just reinstall Windows 7 again :s and lose all my stuff, which I don't really... feel like having done. I'm a bit tired of having to always reinstall my OS because of various problems, usually some weird memory pop-up and blue screens, etc.
Thanks anyway, though.
I'll try Start-Up Repair, but is that going to erase stuff? or just check for missing DLLs, etc.? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell 1545 OS Windows 7 64-bit CPU 2.0GHZ Motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 Memory 4.0GB SDRAM Graphics Card 256MB Mobility Radeon HD 4550 Sound Card Sound Blaster Monitor(s) Displays 15" Keyboard Integrated Mouse Integrated Hard Drives 300GB Internet Speed 2,500kb/down; 800kb/up Other Info I hate Dell.
