Computer bar gone forever with windows 7?

    Computer bar gone forever with windows 7?


    well look at my old vista pic:

    You can see a bar with "|COMPUTER", In windows 7 it's gone !!!
    how to add it back? Drag & Drop the computer icon on top doesn't do the work.. lol
    win 95, 98, millenium, NT, 2000, xp and vista have this and now they removed it from windows 7? I hope not! Help me please :)

    They removed the drag and drop folder/toolbar from Windows 7.

    Try this:
    1. Right-click an unused part of your Task Bar, click "Toolbars", then "New Toolbar..."
    2. In the left pane of the dialog that opens, click "Computer"
    3. Click "Select Folder"
    The above will add a Computer toolbar to the taskbar, although I don't see a way of moving it off the taskbar...

    it's not the old one but thank you
    now i have something to get into a disk faster.

    hey BTW can I make a 'gadget' for this? Oo

    If I understand you correctly, I'm afraid that feature is gone in seven.

    You might want to look at this and see it helps,

    Otherwise there's objectdock,

    Stardock ObjectDock
