    autoplay problem

    Hi all
    when i go to control panel>autoplay>pictures ,
i dont have any option "view with photo viewer" /view using windows .
photo viewer option is just not there.
i'ts funny because in vista there is an option "view using windows"
so my 1st question is - does somebody has a pictures autoplay option with windows photo viewer?
    thanks

When you say "Pictures" do you mean jpeg images? If so right click on any jpeg and choose "Open With" and choose "Default Viewer" If your viewer of choice is not in the list choose "Browse" and navigate to the program you want. Check the box that reads "Always open with this program" a press OK

thanks for your advice but i do not think it'll work since windows photo viewer has no .exe in it's own folder...

here is example when the option is present (taken from microsoft page)
    Working with digital pictures
so how come it is not present in windows 7 ?
    microsoft posted "wrong" photo?
Any other idea/tweak to fix the fault issue please?

    1) Dude, you want a photoviewer option in Autoplay, it isnt there.

    2) Use a free image viewer like Faststone in conjunction with the trick I posted earlier.

Thats about all I can think of.
