Newbie here. I'm after some help please. I've lost all my thumbnails and the ability to view pictures in my folders.
Any help would be great. | My System Specs |

It is possible it was disabled in error, following these instructions will show you how thay can be turned off or on. Thumbnail Previews - Enable or Disable
If you want to speed up browsing around in explorer, you might think about disabling thumbnail previews in folders. Note that this works in Windows 7 or Vista
To make this change, click the Organize button on any folder, and choose Folder and Search Options from the menu.
Click the View tab, and then check the Always show icons, never thumbnails checkbox.
Click OK, and you’re done.

If that doesn't work, try reading through this thread about the same issue: Invisible and Blank Thumbnails/Icons?

Thank you for coming back to me. I have followed your instructions but it has not worked. I'm still having the same problem.
I've also rebooted my system but still nothing. | My System Specs

Tried both of these and still no joy! If it helps, they seemed to of disappeared after trying to use Windows 7 Logon Background Changer 1.3.4.
I also read somewhere that someone had this problem and it was caused by the antivirus they had. I have norton and macafee. | My System Specs

In that case I'd suggest booting in Safe Mode to see if the problem persists: Safe Mode

Hello Deyno, and welcome to Seven Forums.
You might see if clearing and resetting the thumbnail cache may be able to help.
