Merge multiple folders

Hi.
I have a couple of folders that I want to merge into one folder.
What is the best way to do this?

Open one folder...
Ctrl-A to select all
Ctrl-C to copy
open the other folder
Ctrl-V to paste

verify that everything got copied, then delete the first folder.

Easiest way is to rename one of the folders to the same name as the other folder, and choose merge.

I.E. if you have "Pics" and "Pics1" (located in the same directory), you can change "Pics1" to "Pics", and choose "Yes".

You can make a new folder, then drag the others into it.

One simple shortcut is to rename the folders to the same name. Once you've done this you should see a dialog which asks you if you want to merge the contents of the two folders. Granted, this will only work for one folder at a time.

If you're looking for a more comprehensive solution, you may want to look into a more in depth file manager than explorer.
