    32 bits or 64 bits


    Hello,i would like to know if i can change win7 32bits for a win 7 64bits with my computer.I have 8Go of memories and with the 32bits i can take only 3,5Go.Thanks for your answer.

    Hello Michel, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Please fill in and update your system specs (click on link). What type of hardware (ex: CPU supports 64-bit) will play a big part in whether your system will run 64-bit Windows 7 or not. Most do these days, but we must be sure. :)


    For now, you will have to do a clean reinstall to go from 32-bit to 64-bit Windows 7.

    If you fill in your system specs to let us know what CPU you have, we'll be happy to let you know if it will support 64-bit or not. :)

    It should support 64-bit if you have a recent CPU
