    Repent! The End Is Near!

Okay all jokes and cardboard signs aside...I am very saddened that the Beta is ending June 1st. I reverted to XP last night, not very happy, seems over 3 months Seven grew on me really bad...like a third arm I really needed. Anyhow...Just wanted to see what everyone else is doing about the end of Beta, haven't heard anything about being able to stay on the beta (someone said to change your cmos clock, doubt that will work) past the deadline. This will be an immediate purchase when it hits the shelves. I will say, while keeping to forum rules, that I have acquired windows in the past but I am going to support the efforts MS has put forth and shell out the cash this time.

Gonna miss Windows 7 so bad...It was like my second love (wife has to come first, and she is gonna miss it too.) and I wish I could stay on it longer =(.

P.S. : People, donate to this site, even if its 1$ or 5$, that’s a very small price to pay for this great forum that has kept us going all these months!

    Peace Homies

You do know about the availability of the Release Candidate build 7100 directly offered free from Microsoft, right? Including your x64 flavor.

    That expires in 2010.

Official Windows 7 RC Available Right Now!

I was just about to say that.

The end is not so near as you might have thought, eh?

Remember expiration dates: Please plan ahead for the Beta and RC expiration dates. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to rebuild your test machine using a valid version of Windows before the software expires. Windows will notify you that the expiration process is beginning and two weeks later your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. The Beta expires on August 1, 2009, and bi-hourly shutdowns will begin July 1, 2009. The RC will expire June 1, 2010, and the bi-hourly shutdowns will begin on March 1, 2010. In both cases, you’ll need to rebuild your test PC to replace the OS and reinstall all your programs and data.

OMFG....SEE PEOPLE..this is why 5 dollars is a small price to pay. DONATE!

there will most likely be a 'patch' that someone will make, for the shut down issue. as far as the 'RC doomsday' that's THE END. I plan on buying 7 anyway, so no worry for me
