wish I could minimize ALL when multiple windows open in same program

I really like aspects of the new taskbar, especially pinning program icons to it. I always would open my main program's in the same order so they would be in the same place on taskbar, but if I had to close one and reopen... oh well. so 7 fixed that problem, BUT.

If I have multiple windows open in same program (e.g. firefox), I lose the ability to minimize ALL windows controlled by that programs icon. When right clicking on icon, there should be a MINIMIZE ALL choice in addition to the CLOSE ALL. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Any 7 tweaker programs add this, or REG tweak??

Try reading question a little more closely (...by that program's icon)
'Minimize all windows'is not what I am looking for, I can do that with the button on far right of task bar.

I have taskbar button setting at 'always combine, hide labels', so multiple windows opened BY THE SAME PROGRAM are under the control of one taskbar icon.

I dont think its possible to do exactly what you want, but I suppose there is always "Aero Shake"?

Seems like a basic function that got forgotten. Where do we tell MS stuff like this that might actually get heard?

Will check out Aero Shake. Tweaker program was one solution I thought might come up. Was hoping someone had already discovered one that included a fix for this.

NO, I had not! I'll be darned. I would still much prefer a one handed solution. I am sure they are trying to keep the bubble clean and I respect that, so how about...

Add a little button to the normal bubble that if you slide up and hover over it say's 'more options' and if you click on it does what SHIFT r/click does??

it's not easy designing a user interface that suits everybody - compromises have to be made

Try responding a little more nicely. I said see if that is what you desire. We can't know what you have tried, or what level of skills you have. I generally just walk away from a poster who replies as you did. I did read, I was attempting to help, if you don't appreciate that, fine. I had a program as my next suggestion. A Guy

feel free to ignore my posts in future. I wish I could walk away from all the responses I get from people that don't take the time to understand the question asked before trying to 'help''.
