    Migrate to new drive

I'm running out of disc and want to preferable migrate the whole kit and kaboodle to a new drive. I'd like to use the current drive as a rendering drive.

Is there an easy and "free" way of doing this or should I just bite the bullet and reinstall?

    Thanks,
    Burt

Hello bobland, welcome to Seven Forums!

You can make an image with Macrium, have a look at the tutorials at the links below; be sure to post back if you have any questions, someone will be sure to help.

Check the hard drive manufacturer. Companies like Seagate allow an OEM version of Acronis TrueImage so that you can image your old drive to the new one.

As long as one of your drives is a Seagate, it will work without a problem. I am sure that other manufacturers have similar utilities. It was because of DiscWizard that I was so impressed and actually purchased Acronis TrueImage.
