Windows 7: How do i lock my computer

How do i lock my computer

I sometimes have to leave comp and go for some work with all the windows open. Is there any feature whereby i can lock my computer and then unlock on return.

i mean something like Ctl + alt + del is what we normally use in offices ?

Click Start - move mouse over shutdown menu and you'll see a 'lock' option...your account must be passworded for it to work.

There's also a keyboard short cut as well: WinKey + L

Click the start button. Look to the lower right and an click on the menus arrow to the right of Shutdaown. Select lock. I am assuming you have a password setup?

Usually Ctrl + Alt + Delete and then pressing enter works too.

I can't believe only one person mentioned Win+L....which is the quickest way to accomplish a lock.
