    I donīt know the password

    Hi,

I typed incorrectly the password of my ACER ASPIRE ONE Notebook the first time that I got in and then rightnow I can not get Windows. I neither have a CD recovery. I just can use the USB ports or Internet.

    Could you help, please?

Hello Lola, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Either one of these should be able to reset your password for you. :)

    Hope this helps,

Here is a link to another topic about a similar issue. Go to the third post on the page. If you don't have a cd-drive you can use with the computer at all, you can probably just install ultimate boot cd on a USB flash drive. There are tutorials all over the place on how to use a flash drive as a cd.

That's my post he is talking about, and in case you didnt click it, here it is:

Towards the bottom of this page there is a download link for Ultimate Boot CD. Using whatever computer you are on, download that and burn it.

Use the CD to boot onto the computer you can't login to, and follow these instructions.

You can reset your password without ever having to login! Takes about 3 minutes :)

    Haven't looked at it, but-

If it works, it's an ideal tool for notebook PC thieves.

You need Windows XP installation files to create the CD boot disk; have a better look at the page at the "this" link and at the page at the download link at the bottom of that page.
