minimize problem ?

Hi all,
i'm new member of sevenforums.com and i am sorry for if i write this topic to wrong place.

I'm using Windows 7 professional x64,
i use firefox or chrome, when i try to minimize the browser,
browser frame goes up and getting little, i think its minimize effect.
But after that minimizing operation, the browser looks its closed ?! i can't see the browser logo in taskbar, but when i press Alt-Tab i can see it.
I've try that in explorer or computer or any file, thats running quite right, but chrome and firefox have problem.
I've search my problem in sevenforums.com but i couldn't get an answer.
Can help me?
edit: that problem is same when i use filezilla, dreamweaver cs5, gom player...
Thanx anyway.

Erdogan,
Welcome to Seven Forums.

Do me a favor.

While Firefox is open active selected,
ALT + SPACEBAR combo This will bring up the windows control dialog
hit n key This will minimize the window.

Now use
WIN + T combo This will select the Taskbar

Does the icon for Firefox show up in the Taskbar?
If you pause over the icon with the mouse, what do you see?
If you click on the icon, what happens?
