Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files...

...and was unable to fix some of them. I get this error when I ran a system file check. I looked in the CBS log file but it's pretty vast and I'm not sure what I should be looking for exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

"...NOTE: When SFC runs, it logs it's actions to the C:\WINDOWS\LOGS\CBS\CBS.LOG. This will show you how to see only the specific SFC entries with the [SR] tags in the CBS.log. This can be helpful to show you what files SFC could not fix automatically if you wanted to try and manually replace them

    Go to C:\WINDOWS\LOGS\CBS
    Delete cbs.log
    run sfc again.
Now somewhere there's a tutorial which specifies the particular findstr command to extract out of that long file the info you really need.

    Ah yes,

    Filter out cbs.log

    findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt

File is still locked by some other process? Restart computer and try to access it.
If you still can't maybe you should look into what process is locking the file, for this you can use Unlocker for example.
