Does Clipboard content get stored in...

..the pagefile, or any other relatively easily accessible place, ever?

Im thinking of making use of the encrypt-pagefile feature of Win 7 because of this, but only if clipboard contents really do have a chance of ending up stored on my hd in the pagefile or elsewhere.
(I sometimes copy+paste passwords and other sensitive data, yes i know its a bad idea either way, thank you ).

thanks in advance for your answers!

I believe the clipboard content is just stored in memory. It can be read by a webpage using scripts. See this page, and if you use IE, use the settings mentioned to prevent it.

    Clipboard Content

The info is held until you copy new info, or clear it. Windows uses the clipbrd.exe, but I am unaware of any temp files being used. It should have nothing to do with page file though. A Guy
