those scores are ok mate i think , look at wishmasters scores , his card though older is quite a bit faster than yours , looking into benchmarks i think your card is performing ok , its no powerhouse but more than enough

i was mainly concerned with yuor furmark score it does seem very low

it might be worth getting 3d mark vantage or 3d mark 06 and running it at its default settings , you can compare your score to others with similar rigs on the 3d mark site

look at my komster score , last post previous page just so you can see how much variation you can get between cards , it doesnt mean yours is faulty

i see why mate , your max monitor res is 1280x1024 , you absolutely need a new monitor for that rig , you should be gaming at 1920x1200 AT LEAST with that

that rig is wasted on that screen mate get a better monitor (im assuming as you bought a prebuilt overclocked rig from overclockers your not short of a few bob)

that card and that cpu will easily stand a 24" monitor get a decent one and you'll wondewr how the hell you managed for so long gaming at such a low res

    here you go

Dell UltraSharp U2410 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey [860-10089] 24" LCD

EDIT..................im getting that card confused with the card i used to have the 5870 , maybe im being a little ambitious with the res , stick to 22" 1680x1050

The HD 5770 works fine on 23 inch monitor, games at 1920x1080.
not according to benchmarks ive seen , not over 25fps anyway but hes not a gamer so its not a problem :)

    My Kombuster
For me is fine, I have HD 5770 1GB and i run BC2, crysis and SC2 on 1920x1080 on very high-max. settings (no AA)

nah , not crysis on high , not at that res.....im not avin that it'll be a sub 20fps slideshow and as for BC2 you must be looking at 25-30 fps especially on Africa Harbour

If this was referring to my post then I don't think i ran crysis with AF. I never got 25-30 fps in BC2.

Wow Steve. Your card runs hot. It's almost 20C hotter than mine when I ran my test at your resolution to compare.

As for your results, it takes my two cards running in Crossfire to equal yours. I'm so jealous.

I think you should download a more recent version of Kombustor from the MSI website. Mine is a build from June and it sees my cards properly, the earlier versions gave lousy results similar to yours. It just didn't work right. IIRC, a 3850 shouldn't perform that badly.
