    Radeon HD5570 stoped working

I've been having problems with drivers causing crashes so I uninstalled my Radeon HD 5570 and I downloaded the ATI Catalyst™ 10.7 Suite for Windows 7 (64 bit). I installed this and restarted my computer. The instalations said it was sucessful but when I try to play a game from the windows build in games or set up a screen saver it says I need a newer video card or one thats compatable with direct3D. The video card did work before I uninstalled it and downloaded the updated driver.
How can I get it working again?

    my specs are:
    Windows 7 64bit
    SAPPHIRE 100293L Radeon HD 5570 1GB 128-bit DDR3
Western Digital Caviar Green WD10EARS 1TB
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
    OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready
    AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition Callisto 3.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 80W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - C3 Revision HDZ555WFGMBOX
    OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3RPR1600C8LV4GK

    Hi buddy.
First, go to Control Panel - System and Security - System. Your Windows Experience Index is gray or blue?! If it is gray, click on "re-run the assessment." If blue, completely uninstall the ATI Catalyst Software Suite. Reboot Windows. Let the native video
driver is installed. Reinstall the ACSS. Reboot Windows. Rerun the Windows Experience Index.
    Let us know the results.

what is the native video driver? Does that mean to install the CD that came with the HD5570 and then download the updated driver package?

Native video driver = Windows video driver.
Excuse me for not being clear enough.

the windows experience index was blue so i uninstalled ACSS, rebooted, installed ACSS and rebooted. The native driver was in. I tried this process twice but it still wont work for the screen saver or games.

Which version of the ACSS you were using before 10.7?! Try installing again and see if the problem is solved.

It was 10.3 before. I've reinstalled it several more times with no luck.

Go to Guru3D - Driver Sweeper and download it.
    How to use ?
There are two methods to use Driver Sweeper.
Both methods achieve the same results. This method is always able to clean all files.
This method will delete remaining files upon reboot (if deleting failed). You can clean your drivers this way:

    • Use the official uninstaller(s) of the driver(s) you want to uninstall.
    • Reboot your PC in Safe Mode.
    • Run Driver Sweeper and select what to clean.
    • Analyse lists all the entries possible to remove, cleaning removes the entries selected.
    • More drivers can be selected for the same cleaning process.

    Its still not quite working.

    I used the driver sweeper.

When I tried to download and run ACSS after the driver sweeper and reboot it let me finish it but it had an error message that said "driver install: the driver does not specify a hardware identifier".

I begin to suspect something ... Run the Windows command prompt as administrator and type
    "sfc /scannow" without the quotes.
