New Graphics card wont install.
Just got a new graphics card. It wont appear on device manager atall. Fan on the gpu is running fine.
I thouhg its the pcie slot is dead. But i plugged a really old graphics card into the slot and the fan works on that and that is powered by the pcie slot. So it must be working? | My System Specs |

Make sure you uninstall the old graphics card drivers before installing the new one. Turn off computer, install new card, install new drivers, reboot, should work. | | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Me

the old graphics card deosnt detect still, but the fan does run off of the pci-e port....

Update:
Things that may be the issue.
Just updated my BIOS.
Just installed a new psu. from a stock 300W to antec sg 850W
old Gfx card blew 2 capacitors, could this have damaged it?
