I Cant Use Native Resolution on my pc/monitor

    I Cant Use Native Resolution on my pc/monitor


    look..
    I bought 1 Samsung LCD TV 37" and i use it as a pc monitor, when i go in "change resolution" have this: 1920x1080 (recomended), but when i select this resolution appear this in TV: "Function not available. This resolution isnt supported on this TV, change the resolution" but i look in manual and the TV resolution is 1920x1080...
    i put this resolution 1680x1050 and it worked fine last day, but today the TV screen is appearing and disappearing, but when i put 1440x900 this work fine again!!!!!
    i use HDMI cable to connect my PC~TV
    plz help me!!! i want to put my TV/monitor 1920x1080 cause is better

    Windows 7 Ultimate Edition x64
    4Gb Memory RAM
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @2.66Ghz 2.67Ghz
    1.5 TeraByte HD
    Video Card GeForce 9600GT 1Gb
    Monitor Samsung LCD 37"

    try a DVI cable .. I've seen similar probs with computers & HDTVs where HDMI is buggery, and a DVI cable works best.

    ho into the nvidia control panel and go to "adjust resolution" then somewhere it will have a box that says "show resolutions not available to me" and then go to 1920x1080

    how i said... it show resolution 1920x1080 whitout hav to go to "show resolutions not available to me", but when i put the TV dont support '-'

    Welcome to Seven Forms, You might find a help in this tutorial Force DVI/HDMI resolutions and refresh rates Their is also a program called powerstrip that might help PowerStrip 3.75 download from Guru3D.com This is for Vista 64bit so you may need to install in compatibility mode Compatibility Mode It would also help to provide the model numver of your TV so we might be able to download the manual for some more insight to what your problem might be cause by.
