Running a seperate GPU for television only?

recently, two things happened. I got a GTX460 video card. And my Samsung 27" TV died.

I need a tv, and have a 21" CRT monitor laying around. Could I use my old card, the GTS250 512mb as a card dedicated for viewing TV? My tuner card, a TV Wonder Pro PCI by ATI isn't great, but it should do the job I imagine.

Will this work? I don't want watching the TV to effect my gaming (as I often watch TV while gaming, WoW mostly). My Motherboard, an EVGA x58 SLI Micro has enough room for two video cards.

How will it look? I'd be connecting it to VGA since I don't believe that monitor has DVI.

    Well...

I've got a 460 card and I regularly game on a cpu/gpu sucking 3d game while running anime to the TV at the same time and there is NO problem with doing both. The 460 card should be able to handle it just fine and if you have a multi core CPU then you should be good there too.

You CAN install multiple cards assuming your MB has the slots for it, but I'd try it without first...

    ^^ thanks.

I just looked at my board. With two cards installed, my PCI slot is blocked, and thus, couldn't install my TV tuner.

Well, here's to hoping my GTX460 is good enough, cause I don't really have another choice.... :)
