    Win 7 Build 7127 with DirectX 11 ???


    I just check DXDIAG and run 64-bit mode and spot DirectX 11 is already included ?

    I have the RC and it says the same thing.

    It always did.
    All you need is a DX11 card and some DX11 games.

    DX11 is backwards compatible with DX10, so yes. It's just that on a DX10 card, you will not be seeing the new features etc...

    dx11 isn't even in what you'd call, a production environment, in that none of the developers for games have really bothered to switch over as yet, and probably won't for a little while yet.

    They barely finished implementing DX10 and there aren't many games exclusive to it. I wouldn't get too excited about DX11, it'll be a long while before we see anything that uses it.

    DX11 is basically a small upgrade that lets non-DX10 cards get a boost from DX10. I don't know of any games that are DX10 exclusive.
